After a noticeably long absence, Naruto returns to his titular manga. It is only a brief look, but it is wonderful to be reminded that the main character is still kicking around. This week, we start upon Bee and Naruto since Naruto continues to train. Bee believes that Naruto is close to figuring out the tailed monster bomb, but Naruto is having difficulty concentrating because he can feel a disturbance in the force. What is interesting here is that Naruto and Kinkaku both have kyuubi chakra acquired at different times in the history of the kyuubi, but Naruto can feel that somebody else is tapping into exactly the same energy. Whether or not he figures out the source of the disturbance and learns about the war remains to be seen.
Meanwhile, Darui is Looking a little haggard from utilizing the Seven Star Sword and Crimson Gourd and jokingly attempts to apologize to Kyuubinkaku because he will be referred to in the remainder of this review. Kyuubinkaku would not be appeased and starts to rage against First Division. His specific demon fox cloak forms five mini tails and one enormous tail which could be used to physically assault opponents. First Division makesĀ Naruto Filler List a priority as many shinobi including Choza step up to bat. Choza grapples the monster barehanded, however, and we know that kyuubi chakra is poisonous upon bodily contact. At this time, an older cloud shinobi provides his allies some advice he probably should have divulged earlier. Back before Madara tamed the demon fox, the Hidden Cloud made a play for ownership of the bijuu and because of this, the Kin-Gin brothers were swallowed whole by the fox. So it appears that the story we had been introduced about how the brothers obtained their power contained more truth than fantasy. This anecdote also reveals the Hidden Cloud continues to be an ambitious village from the start, and though they would later turn traitor, Kinkaku and Ginkaku once took up extremely dangerous missions on behalf of the village. Could this be a case of power corrupting the brothers? Or maybe in devouring such wicked and unfiltered chakra, they had been fundamentally changed.
As the First Division Front line begins to fear, intel is passed on Shinobi HQ. News of the new developments surprises Tsunade, although she’s the leader of this village many intricately on the Kyuubi. It is here that the Raikage shows that Kinkaku and Ginkaku survived those 2 weeks at the fox’s gut by feasting upon its beef, finally forcing it to throw up them. This legendary effort prompted others to replicate their actions, but no other individual has gained bijuu chakra this manner, because bijuu chakra is deadly if consumed.
